Gingerbread Houses

We made gingerbread houses this last week. It was really fun and the boys did a great job of decorating their houses. We also wanted to include the picture of Sam with his two front teeth missing. Perfect for the Christmas season and for some favorite Christmas songs.

Lucas is One Month Old Today!

What a great month. We are so in love with Lucas, and so excited that he joined the family. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from this month.

Jazz!!

Drew is a huge Jazz fan, so of course Sam is too. Luckily Drew has a very generous friend who has season tickets that he was willing to share for the night. The boys had a great night watching the Jazz beat the Lakers.

Drew's 32nd Birthday!

Drew just celebrated his 32nd birthday. I made a cake that actually tasted good, and grandma Kim made a cake that tasted even better than that. So, I think this birthday was overall a big success.

Lucas' arrival

We were induced on Monday and after 9 hours of labor, Lucas arrived at 11:36pm on November 1st. He was 8 pounds 12 ounces and 19 inches long. It was actually a pretty fun day. Drew and I were so excited to finally meet him. Drew couldn't sleep, so he stayed up holding Lucas until 5:30 in the morning, however I was able to fall asleep without any problem! I love hospital stays. They honestly had room service! Mmmm, if I didn't feel like I had just given birth, it would have been a great vacation!

Lucas Drew Comin

While we were at the hospital, Bella Photography came around to take all the new baby's pictures. It was pretty much impossible to get a nice picture of Lucas. We had no warning ahead of time when they would arrive, so she came just as we were getting ready to feed him. We had to put a binkie in his mouth and quickly take it away for a picture. We love all the hair Lucas has and the dimples in his chin and cheeks.

My crazy brother

My older brother Bill loves Halloween. This video link is from the Sioux City Iowa news. He is so cute. It's about 2 minutes and it is funny to see him. So cute!

Talented Celesta

We went to Grandma's for a short visit. While we were there Celesta took some pictures of Naataanii playing in the yard. She sent me a few of the pictures she took. Drew and I were very impressed. Who would have guessed that Celesta had such a hidden talent? I love them.
