Mother's Day 2012

For Mother's Day we had cheeseburgers with Grandma. I love getting breakfast in bed and not having to change a single diaper. My favorite quote of the day came from Drew when he was talking to Lucas: "Seriously! Just because it is mother's day doesn't mean you need to keep pooping!" Ahhh, what a great day!

Boy's Pirate Day at Preschool

Isaac had his pirate day at Preschool. It was a boys only party and luckily Drew was able to take some time off work to take him. Aunt Virgina gave Isaac an old Halloween costume and he ended up looking like a total stud.

Baseball Season Is Here

Baseball season has started and Sam is now officially a New York Yankee. This year it is pitched by someone on the team, which makes the games pretty long! Sam doesn't mind waiting and he loves playing this year. He is a great hitter and Drew is working with him on fielding.

Isaac Turned 5

We celebrated Isaac's 5th birthday this week. We had such a great time. We went to Planet Play, ate pizza, ate cake, and opened presents!

Isaac is enjoying the snow and Lucas is enjoying his cupboard. We keep it empty because Lucas loves to go in there and play.

Christmas 2011

Drew is 33

Drew turned thirty three! We had a great birthday party celebrating his oldness. I love how excited the boys get when Drew is opening his presents. Sam picked out a game for them to play together and he asked over and over again when "we" could open up the birthday presents. Drew's cake literally set off the smoke alarm. Well, I have set grandma's alarm off a hundred times because it is so sensitive, but it was still perfect that it went off with this cake! So much fun!

Isaac Lost His First Two Teeth!

Isaac lost his first two teeth on Wednesday. It's actually a sad story. Diane called me at work and I could immediately tell she was very upset. She said Isaac and her had a collision with the door and Isaac was hit in the mouth with the door knob. Isaac was screaming in the background. Poor Isaac had both teeth knocked out at the root. The dentist had to give him novocaine to numb his mouth so he could pull out the roots. Thankfully they were his baby teeth. Poor boy! It looks so weird because the space is so huge. Since Sam just lost his front teeth last year, Isaac will probably go without front teeth for a few years! After the tooth fairy brought him money, Drew asked if he wanted Grandma to knock out another tooth so he can get more money. Isaac said, "No! It hurts really, really bad to lose teeth!"

Lucas' First Birthday Party!

Let me start by saying, worst birthday party ever! Lucas freaked out when we put the cake in front of him. He ate one bite once he was on my lap, and then hated that too. He threw the presents we put in front of him. This is not what I imagined when we planned his party. I thought I would get lots of cute pictures in his cute little birthday clothes. At least Grandma thought it was funny. She said it was the worst party she has ever been to too. That says a lot because who knows how many parties she has been to in her lifetime!
